I have just been caught by one of those insidious sights that spring up all over the place!
Haven't we all fancied being a mystery shopper? I clicked on that ad that keeps appearing on facebook, this took me straight to a web page discussing how easy it is to make money using a famous search engine! Oh, they make it sound so simple, pay us only $1.90 and get started....
I don't think so....!!
How many people read through the terms and conditions? And of course I didn't, next thing I get a login and password and at the bottom of the page in small print - 'This is a 7 day trial and then you will be billed monthly for $79.90 for use of this website' ......huh!
Fortunately it was fairly easy to cancel, but I had to phone the USA to do this, so it will have cost me the $1.90 plus an international call, but that's the price for being stupid!
